Psychologist, Psychologist/Student Coordinator, Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)

Dr. Christine Ahrens is a psychologist working with the original Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) in Madison, Wisconsin. She studied the model during her training in Germany, where she attended the University of Cologne. She later earned her doctorate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
In moving to Madison, Dr. Ahrens fulfilled her dream of learning and working at PACT. She met and was mentored by Dr. Bill Knoedler for more than a decade. She remains passionate about ACT and is now in her 29th year of practicing and championing the model. She delivers clinical services to clients, co-leads the team, and provides staff and student supervision. Dr. Ahrens has given numerous lectures on psychiatric rehabilitation and consults nationally and internationally on ACT. She is thrilled to be part of celebrating 50 years of ACT in 2022.
